From the Desk of Ilia Petkov, President & Founder of Colorado Springs Engineering firm IP Automation
Colorado Springs engineering firm IP Automation enthusiastically began 2016 with an increase in our production areas, then culminated in an esteemed award-winning moment. At the end of March, IP Automation won the manufacturing award at the Celebrate Technology 2016 Awards ceremony in Colorado Springs.
As we move deeper into the second quarter of 2016 our Colorado Springs engineering and manufacturing firm is…
1. Putting the final touches on completing the manufacturing of our newest clipper machine for the railroad industry. It is a revolutionary design named after the mythological Hydra and will complement our existing Hyena series of clippers.
2. Continuing to expand our business with the railroad industry as we finalize plans to attend the AREMA Conference and Exhibition this summer in the Orlando, Florida area.
3. Adding a press brake to our inventory of machinery, allowing us to perform bending operations internally to further meet our customer’s needs.
4. Continuing to work with NatureRails, LLC and an architectural firm on a large opportunity for custom designed, artistic metal railings for a structure to be built on the top of Pikes Peak in Colorado.
US Senator Michael Bennet visits IP Automation.
Senator Michael Bennet visited IP Automation on site at our Colorado Springs engineering and manufacturing firm. The Senator’s visit to IP Automation took place during his travels throughout Colorado to hear the concerns companies have about transportation issues. IP Automation was honored to be one of the company’s on the Senator’s visitation list.
Prior to a facility tour of our engineering and manufacturing firm, Senator Bennet heard from staff and manufacturing executives of various companies. We spoke of our mutual concerns, including the need of additional lanes on the I-25 corridor. Lack of lanes along the corridor are causing delays, creating additional costs and inefficiencies in doing business in the Denver area.
