Railroad tie automatic drilling machinery
IP Automation’s latest railroad maintenance machine is our tie drilling and spiking station. Designed for one of our major railroad customers, it quickly and safely drills holes in railroad crossties. The automatic machinery includes a vacuum system functional with various wood tie lengths.
Water Jet Cutting Services
Large format dual head water jet cutting system
The video below demonstrates IP Automation’s large format 10×20′ dual head water jet cutting system. Their water jet cutting system excepts many different types of CNC files, which when load into their system, are converted into a usable water jet cutting program. At 60 thousand psi of water pressure, mixed with garnet media, the dual heads are capable of cutting material up to six inches thick. And, with tolerances up to 5,000ths of an inch, IP Automation produces products which can be used straight from the water jet cutter.

The video below demonstrates our custom machining services. This machine was custom designed and manufactured by IP Automation to assist in the assembly of large heat exchangers. We worked closely with our client to ensure the finished custom machine met their expectations of safety, reliability, and maintainability.
